Fairtrade in the Square Mile

The City of London Fairtrade Steering Group was formed in 2007 when the City first achieved "Fairtrade Zone" status, awarded by the Fairtrade Foundation.

We are a volunteer group of City residents and workers committed to promoting the use of ethically and fairly sourced products, resources, and materials within the square mile.

If you live or work within the City and want to get involved in our work, please get in touch!

Not Guilty!

Our host for the evening is Master of Wine and fine chocolate expert Sarah Jane Evans. Guests who have attended her Not Guilty! tastings in previous years will know that it is a most enjoyable and indulgent event. Tickets are £35, with all the profits going to the Bow Food Bank.

Sarah Jane will be bringing to the surroundings of the Central Criminal Court an appropriately Fair and Just selection of fine chocolates, artisan cheeses and wines from around the world, all of them produced under ethical schemes.  For anyone who has enjoyed the event before, Sarah Jane wants to assure you that she has an array of new treats!
